We are going up a day earlier for are Disney trip so we decided to go to Universal so my question is which park is better for a 3,6,&7 year old and can you get both parks done in one day? we don't expect to do all the rides because of height restrictions so any help would be helpful thanks in advance. oh i should add we will be in orlando by 10AM

You should actually be able to do both parks in one day, but play it safe and start at USF much more family friendly plus more characters and that kind of stuff. Overall both parks are fun even if you cant go on all the rides.

If you arrive early in the morning and go off season you can get both parks done in one day if you move at a good pace.

Both parks are great, if you really want to make sure you get to experience all the attractions you can buy the express pass which gives you front of the line access. But it maybe a waste of money if you go when the parks are not busy. I made that mistake at USH this past month when I visited.

The only thing IOA really has for the younger set is Seuss Island so I'd definitely start with USF and if you move through there then hit IOA. Both parks are fantastic and you'll be pleasantly surprised, but I'm still disapionted that IOA has chosen to focus almost solely on thrill rides as its course of action.

Not so. IOA also has Popeye, Storm Force Accelatron, Flying Unicorn, Pteronadon Flyers, the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, several shows and three large play areas which are all appropriate for kids.

I personally like Universal Studios better. You can probably do both parks in one day because Islands of Adventure has many rides with high height restrictions. Jurassic Park has the most amazing playground ever created. Universal Studios has rides that pretty much everyone can ride. Revenge of the Mummy has a 48 inches height restriction so you may or may not be able to do it. If you go in February through April they have the Mardi-Gras celebration on Saturdays.
