Sorta new around here so hello everyone. We are leaving on the 23rd this month and my son is going to propose to his girlfriend when we are eating in the castle. Now is there anything else I might want to do for them to make it special like have the ring brung to the table or such. We go every year as it is better than any other place I have been. She thinks we are taking a family vaction as ususal she has never been there so any help would be greatful.

Don't take this the wrong way - but leave them alone when he proposes. I don't think your future daughter in law should be under any additional pressure by having the entire family looking on when the proposal is made

If she accepts then everyone can return to the table and enjoy the celebrations with them

It's defiantly worth calling ahead and letting the restaurant know of his plans. There are all sorts of things they will do for you (as an example we got free champaign flutes when we ate there on our honeymoon). They may be able to arrange a 'special time' to propose, maybe work it into the show?

BTW, if you haven't reserved the table yet, make sure you do ASAP as it is the most popular restaurant on property.

He should definitely call ahead. There is a lot they can do for him, they can bring the ring out on a covered dessert tray sitting in a glass slipper. Plus they will have a photographer there to take a million pictures. It costs a little extra but is so worth it.

There is a proposal package that can be arranged though Cindy's Royal Table. My fiance proposed to me in June of this year there. The couple gets a special dessert, a pair of keep sake flutes, and the ring can be placed in Cinderella's slipper, plus they have a photopass photographer that captures pictures from before she will be aware, all the way through the proposal and the family afterwards. The manager at the restaurant coordinates everything so all you and your son have to do is sit back and enjoy the moment! (I have pictures and a play by play posted in this forum, I think the thread is something like, "He really is Prince Charming"). My suggestion is don't pass up this package-- it is worth every penny!

Let us know how it goes!

The best thing you can do for them is , catch the memories of all thos e moments in your cell phone or in handy cam. Also give both of them a memorable gift, which they can't forget all over their life....

Good advice, but quite late since the thread started in September.
