Help with September 2018

We have a trip booked for 9/27/18-10/1/18. I understand the Halloween party is 9/28 and 9/30, but why does MK close at 6 on 9/27 as well?

We are attending the 9/28 Halloween party, however besides for that MK isn’t open past 8PM (Saturday 9/30) for the duration of our trip. Doesn’t closing at 8PM on a Saturday seem odd?

They might have a private event that evening. It doesn't happen very often, but every once and a while it will. Or they might not be expecting high crowd levels as of now and the closing time could change as it gets closer. We went that week in 2016 and the hours were shorter most of the week when I planned however once we got there the parks were open much later then they originally were.

Night of Joy took place when we were the in September 2015. Looks like they usually do it in the beginning of September, but it very well could be that.
