Help with Purchasing Annual Gold Pass

I am disney vacation club owner, and my stepson would like me to purchase him and his family annual gold passes.

He does not reside at my home and his last name is different than mine. Will that be a problem?

Also, can he pickup the tickets and enter the park without me being with him?

From the DVC annual pass page... "The fun just got better! As a Disney Vacation Club Member, you and and your immediate family (living in the same household) can save on select annual passes for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida."

You cannot purchase a DVC discount pass for adults not living in your house. So if they are 18 and over it is an issue. Not sure if your step son is an adult or not by the way things were worded
