Help with magical express question

At the last minute a friend is flying with us for a WDW vacation. My children and I are flying and my husband is driving. Only my actual family is on the resort (CB) reservation. Would my friend be able to use my husbands ticket to be on the magical express, or would we have to take a taxi? Thank you!

If you're all on the same reservation, your friend should show up anyway. When you check into DME, only one party member needs to swipe their Magic Band, so it likely wouldn't matter. If you're all travelling together that is. If you have enough tags for your friend's luggage [not an issue if your husband is bringing the luggage], you can still use the luggage delivery as well.

If your friend is joining you in your room, make sure you add them to the reservation, room charges are based on the number of adults/children in the room.
