Would love to hear y'all's suggestions as to how to tackle the Magic Kingdom's most popular rides when the park first opens please.

Is there an order in which we should do the most popular attractions throughout the park , keeping in mind we've yet to experience the New Fantasyland Expansion, and would like to be able to use FPs as well..

Thank you.

Well if New Fantasyland is your top priority, I highly suggest knocking that out first. I would get Fast Passes for The Little Mermaid first (located at Phillarmagic), then I would proceed to Enchanted Tales with Belle, then Dumbo, then Great Goofini. Take some time to explore the area before your Fast Pass for Little Mermaid will
become available. If there is some time, ride the other Fantasyland attractions. Once you leave The Little Mermaid proceed to either Tomorrowland for Space Mountain or catch a ride on the railroad to Big Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain. I highly suggest that you get this all done by around 10:30 (when the crowds start to arrive.)
Good Luck and I hope this doesn't sound too crazy!
PS: the best time to visit New Fantasyland is during the night. It's a lot less crowded, and it's lit up beautifully!

FP Space Mountain then go ride Big Thunder Mountain, then Splash mountain, then Big Thunder Mountain again then head back to Space Mountain then ride Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Pirates and then Dumbo and you are all set and this should all be done by 12pm :) Once that is done head down to Tomorrowland and tackle the park counter clockwise for the rest of the day.

This is how we always do Magic Kingdom, if you are at a Disney resort make sure to use morning magic hours to gain entry an hour early before rope drop.

On our first MK day we did the FLE, Enchanted Tales with Belle first as it has no FP and the line gets rather long, then we did the rest of the FLE. The second day 9 am opening we did all 3 mountains by 10am Space first! My best suggestion would be to get to MK well before official rope drop time and do what's most important to you! That all being said you can't go wrong following touring plans. Good luck and happy rope drop!

I would fast pass Little Mermaid, then ride Peter Pan and if you like Space Mountain head there or to Big Thunder. If you have small kids you'll probably want to push back the mountains and do Dumbo and maybe the enchanted tales with Belle. Don't waste time now with small world because in the evening I haven't ever seen it with a big line.

We get a Space Mnt FP, ride Astro, ride Buzz, do the Laugh Floor then it's usually time for Space. After that we head to Dumbo if the wait is still short, then Goofy, Little Mermaid, get a cinnamon roll from Gaston's, do Pooh and maybe the Tea Cups, then Philharmagic and get a FP for Peter Pan, it's a small world, then Haunted Manaion and that's when we venture over to the west side of the park. And at this point the park is crowded and it goes downhill from there but you get the "smaller" yet popular attractions done with a minimal wait.

We were at MK rope drop last month (first people through the gate, I'm proud to say!) and booked it straight to Space Mountain. At that point, you don't even need a Fast Pass - it's a walk-on ride. We then hit some of the more popular attractions in Fantasyland (Peter Pan, Ariel, Pooh) before getting in line for Be Our Guest at 10:30am. After lunch we worked our way over to Frontierland, where we did the whole "get a fast pass for one and ride the other" switcharoo with BTM and Splash. Everything after that was smooth sailing.

FP Space Mountain, hit new Fantasyland, then Big thunder mountain, and Splash mountain. On your way back to Space mountain grab a FP for peter pan or any of those smaller rides that get crazy long lines. Ride space mountain. Then tea cups :)

Go left young man...go left. When u get to the hub....go left into Adventureland. JC, POTC, Splash, Thunder, HM, HoP. You should be able to do multiple rides on Splash, Thunder and HM with little or no wait all before 11:30-12:00. The crowds you are walking with up Main St disappear when u cross over the bridge into AL.

I think in this instance you can actually say, "go west young man" because it actually is west from the hub...:joyfull:

We always head LEFT... hit Splash first then BTMRR, then immediately get over to SM before it gets crazy. After that hit HM, PoTC, JC before the lines build up. Has always worked for us.

I like you am in a quandary. We had a rope drop plan down solid; with little ones, we always did FL first. But with the FLE (our first time to see it will be this Nov.), I am also trying to figure out what order to do things. I am thinking we should get FP for LIttle Mermaid and then do Belle, Dumbo, and Great Goofini in that order. I am just worried that by the time we get through these attractions, the other popular FL rides, like Peter Pan and Pooh will have long lines. At least we have 2 days in MK so we can focus on the mountains the second day.

I have to agree here. Last trip, first full day in the park, about 9am, our bus from AS Sports to MK was rammed full of people, and we got off the bus, and it was still busy.

Once we entered the park, Main Street was still fairly busy, but not overly so. We went into Adventureland, and it was just dead. Nobody around, save for a few Cast Members. We managed to get straight on POTC, Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain.
