Alright I am landing in Sanford and using Quicksilver to pick us up. I must say that they have been awesome to deal with always very nice and quick to respond to questions I hope when we get down there I can give them a great recomendation when I get back. Here is the problem. My wife and son have decided a tour of NASA in cape canaveral would be great the first day we are there so now i think I have to rent a car are there any other ways of gettig to NASA and how expensive are they. It would be on April 16th thanks for all your help

When I did not hire a car on my first couple of visits (I was under 21 and they would not rent to me) I went on a bus excursion. Your hotel may be able to recommend someone. Drop them an email, see what they come up with and you can then compare the costs with the other suggestions that have been made.

You didn't mention which resort you are staying at, but if it is one that has a refridgerator, or better yet one of the home away from home resorts, it may be worth renting a car for the day just to be able to get to a grovery market outside of the park and pick up some cheaper water/snacks/breakfast.

One think you could possibly do, too, is to rent a car for the day from National/Alamo on Disney Property (some of the non-disney hotels have rental counters, too). That way you aren't stuck going the first day, and don't have to worry about getting to the rental counter.

I think Quicksilver will let you stop off for thrity minutes as a grocerystore if you wish to stock up on nibbles and drink.
