Hi

I'm going to the CP and I don't want to leave anything behind. Please tell me what kind of stuff you realize you need it or wanted to have when you got there.

Like a toaster, blender....

What do they mean by basic utensiles?

when is your arrival date? there are a lot of us going in january -

i wouldn't take any appliances - just take clothes -a nd if you are used to using your computer/tv take those - but if i remember right - we had all appliances/dishes/silverware - bring an iron...

It´s easier to get the stuff you need in WalMart once you think you need it. When people are leaving they leave a lot of stuff that they sell cheap or just give away. If it was me, I would bring a car (but don´t say you will or they will place you in Chatham Square) and a computer. Didn´t use the blender or anything like that, the microwave is provided and whatever else you need, you can always borrow it for a while. :animwink:

hehehe, it sounds like me! Bringing everything and it's partner.

I'm lucky, because IF I over pack (more like when) I can send stuff home with my parents because they are driving the conversion van, with me following in my car.

Don't forget the underwear! You don't want to end up going shopping without your undies!!

Buying appliances (TV, toaster, blender) can easily be done once in Orlando.

You don't know what your roommates will be bringing. The apt. next door had 4 tvs.

You can all chip in and buy a blender and toaster (many people do) that goes in the trash (depending on care) at the end of the program.
