Help understanding useing DVC points purchased on resale combined with direct purchased points

Here's what maybe an easy question but not so clear to me.
I have points in Copper Creek direct from Disney. Later I find someone offering to sell their Cooper Creek DVC points on resale market.
I understand they are considered two separate contracts but my question is:

Can the points total be combined for use at the 11 month booking window? Since they are both with the same property?
Can those points be banked and borrowed ?

I understand that those resale points can't be used with Disney Destinations, ie: anything as a Membership extras.

As long as they have the same Use Year, then sure, you can combine them at the 11 month mark at Copper Creek. If they are not the same Use Year, you will really need to be careful about when the points are deposited into your account. Not impossible, but can be harder to keep track of them, especially for banking and borrowing. You really want them to be the same Use Year!

Yes, they can also be banked or borrowed as any other points. If you make your reservation on-line the system will ask you which contract to pull which points from first and second.

Keep to the same use year and it won't be an issue. If you have 2 use years, you'll have 2 memberships and you'll have to transfer points to use them at the same time. It's not impossible but it is more thought behind it.

yes, you can use the combined points for a reservation at 11 months and they can be banked and borrowed.
