Help - Travel Insurance

Hi

Hoping for some advice ....

Have just had ano ultrasound showing I have 5 gallstones likely hood is as I live in the UK and don't have a spare £5k to go private that my op to remove the gallbladder will have to be after my disney trip. (14 weeks time)

Issue is travel insurnace anyone use a company whilst being on a wait list and not had their eyes ripped out on the price?

Any advice on what to do wold be fab

Travel insurance companies are extremely cautious about any kind of existing medical condition. Sorry I can't offer any help, but good luck with the insurance and the op.

Hope you've managed to sort out your insurance by now but just encase you haven't. We have found many UK insurers to cover pre-existing and currently on going treatment to cover us. I currently use Sainsbury's Travel Insurance that allows you to complete the underwriting yourself. Most will exclude that condition from your cover but not all. Its a small extra charge but its peace of mind when you travel. Good luck and have a great trip.
