Hello All, I will be going to the World in mid July, 9 day stay @AKL. I have all my ADR's but one. One night I may be a SOLO diner and want the experience to be a comfortable one-not wanting to stand out to much. Further background-I already have ADR's for both Sanaa & Boma. I wanted
to try to stay flexible if I wanted to go back to a park after dinner, so I was thinking somewhere accessible to the monorail, so I might go to Epcot, MK, or even HS. Here are the choices some people have suggested so far:
Jiko, Yachtsman, Flying Fish, Le Cellier. Please give your thoughts as I want to make my ADR soon before spaces run out!!!! Please help, and thanks again!!!!

Citricos - It's my fav!

I also think very highly of Flying Fish and Yachtsman.

In different to Jiko.

Do not recommend Le Cellier (food was fantastic - atmosphere was horrible, too close to other patrons).

My personal suggestion would be for Jiko, which is my favorite restaurant on the property. However, based on your criteria, I would go with Yachstman if you want a good steak or Flying Fish if you want seafood. Both are easily accessible via the "back door" of Epcot.

Flying Fish. A nice bar area if you desired a cocktail. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service and the food is to die for.

I never miss Le Cellier every trip, but this place I only recently tried, and I have severe regrets now that we did not do this sooner.

We ate...alot. We didn't have Lunch that day and went all out. I can recommend a lot. The crab cake, the cheese tasting, the steak, the pork chop... of my dreams. And I had the best potato au gratin of my life. The sauce was heavenly. And they also have a mac and cheese with the leek fondue and it was amazing.

Can't remember feeling that great after a nice dinner in a long time, while being on vacation and eating for the first time somewhere.

Thanks for the response so far. I think I have narrowed my Solo dining choice to either Jiko or Flying Fish ,as they both have a bar or chefs table area where Solo diners would be more comfortable. As a previous poster stated Le Cellier-the tables are so close together, and The Yachtsman I do not believe has a bar or chefs table area for solo diners. One question after dinner I know it is easy to get from Flying Fish to Epcot, can you also easily get over to DHS? Any comments or thoughts on these two restaurants is most appreciated. I would like to make my ADR quickly. Thanks Again!!!!

Yes, you can walk from Flying Fish to DHS. Just follow the path. It's about a mile away, but it's a nice, scenic walk.
