Which is the better photo?

Honestly Idunno which one to enter in the contest. I'm all about clarity, and focused subject matter. But I've seen several blurry washed out shots get praise simply on the contained subject. I don't get it. :veryconfu

The first two shots are great - close-up and bright, but I like the third one best. You really captured her "attitude" - great facial expression! Anyone can take a static shot of a character, but you captured a real "performance", even if there is other stuff going on in the background.

P.S. On second thought, maybe you should avoid my advice, after all most of my pictures are blurry and washed out! :lol:

Whilst pin sharp clarity is nice, it won't necessarily catch the heart of a subject.

In addition, I use fotopic and they compress photos that are uploaded, so they end up losing some clarity. However, as it's a free service I'm not going to complain.

The washed comment wasn't directed to anyone here. I shoot car shows and I've seen pics that had chance of tripod use, on still subjects but just didn't know how to shoot get more praise than some of mine, even the ones with micro-bikined hotties on it. :lol:

But anyway as far as subject goes the third one is my choice too. The more I look at it, the hotter and hotter the bounty hunter woman becomes. In a spank my ___ kinda way. :lol: :lookaroun

I'll let this post continue for a few days and see what happens. We are allowed to crop oversized pics for the contests here, right? I may crop the bounty hunter woman differently to show her whole head antenna or whatever it is. I didn't realized I cropped it before when I was trying to include her hand expression. Thanks everyone so far.
