Hi Everyone,
The DH just gave me the news, back to Disney in January for our 15th wedding anniversary. So excited! We are only going to be in the parks for three days, so I was looking to plan a nice dinner in Epcot. Of all the places we have tried we have no experience in Epcot. Where would you eat and why? Thanks. :)

Congratulations on your anniversary! Not sure on what type of cuisine you like/don't like, but I would make these recommendations based on ambience:

San Angel Inn (Mexico): tables are a little squished, but you might get lucky and get a good seat. The ambience cannot be beat. It's absolutely beautiful.
Tokyo Dining (Japan): never very crowded, prime seating next to a window that overlooks Showcase Lagoon.
Rose & Crown (UK): can sit outside by the water and possibly enjoy Illuminations
Le Cellier (Canada): the closest to 'fine dining' in EPCOT. Dark and quiet, very intimate. The gardens outside make for pretty photo opps too.

I will agree w @belledream above. LeCellier is closest to fine dining but I've had mixed results and its pricey. I love Rose & Crown (try the Welsh Dragons) for its seating as well.

I will add Via Napoli if you like Italian food - I've never had a bad meal there.

Congrats!

Monsieur Paul is much closer than Le Cellier to fine dining. We had a "meh" meal there before it was renamed/redone, but that could easily be written off on a waiter/bartender who had a very limited mixed drink menu (at $40+ per entree I'd hope a full bar), and their idea of a vegetarian dish being 3 side servings of vegetables on a plate. I'd give it a second chance at some point.

You could also walk over to the Epcot resort area, BlueZoo, Shulas, heck even Flying Fish are all great restaurants.

The other in park choices aren't bad depending on your preference for ethnic cuisine, but some are much more about the ambiance than the food.

Lots of great options in World Showcase as others have mentioned, but I also wanted to throw out there the idea that Coral Reef might be a good option as well. If it's just the two of you, you'll have a table either right by the aquarium or just a row over from it (so not more than a few feet away). We ate their on our anniversary trip, and sitting at dinner and watching the aquarium while we relaxed was very cool. We both really enjoyed our food.

We also did dinner one night at Teppan Edo, which is (I think) owned by the same people who own Tokyo Dining. The two are in the same space. Teppan Edo was fantastic, but I can see where Tokyo Dining might be a more romantic choice. The view of the lagoon from the deck in front is awesome.

Il Mulino! Tell them it is your anniversary and they will take care of you! I cant talk highly enough about this place. Its been great every time and is a short walk from WS to The Swan. The food is great as is the atmosphere. Its one place that hasn't been brought down by "free dining". Complementary appetizer and after dinner drinks too! Normally you get one of these gems but our waiter, knowing it was our anniversary, gave us 2 additional refills before we had to turn down a 3rd!

I would also walk out the International Gateway, but I'd walk over to Flying Fish or bluezoo, the latter you can probably easily get as a walk up since they don't accept the Dining Plan. bluezoo has one of the more romantic dining rooms you will find in Disney, so it's pretty spot-on as an anniversary dinner destination.

@lostpro9het has a good recommendation with Il Mulino, as well. By far, the best Italian food on property, and the wait staff is fantastic and personable. The risotto dishes are delicious and gigantic.

If you're into the "exotic" perhaps Morocco Restaurant Marakesh? It has a belly dancer and music.
Definitely France, the signature restaurant . Italy is nice. I like Via Napoli for pizza, but IMHO it's rather loud in there for an anniversary dinner.
Mexico San Angel Inn- very romantic. You can try to request a table by the boat ride, but it is nice and dark in there.;)

I think that San Angel Inn or Chefs de France would be romantic for an anniversary meal. We have spent our anniversary at the Biergarten, not romantic but a fun time!

We have had mixed feelings on LeCellier. We just ate there the week of June7 th. They really stepped up everything about the restaurant. It was fantastic and I would consider it a signature restaurant now.. excellent food, excellent service...my vote is here for your celebration

I would highly recommend Tutto Italia in Italy. We picked it one night at random and found the food and service to be wonderful. We liked it enough to return on our next trip. Really great food and excellent service both times. Great atmosphere and decor, although a tad noisy perhaps. We were impressed.

Chefs de France is anything but romantic, they pack you in there like sardines and its loud, not enjoyable that way at all. It use to not be like that. Would def go with Monsieur Pauls upstairs for a more romantic easier to hold a conversation atmosphere.
this is a very small, intimate restaurant. They really did a nice presentation for my in-laws 60th anniversary. If you enjoy French food, this is probably the most quietfof all the Epcot restaurants.
