Help: Is AKL-Savannah Conceirge at $360 a night worth it.

It depends, when are you going?
We went for my senior trip the second to last week in May and booked 3 regular rooms. They ended up upgrading us to Savannah rooms.
It was amazing! The feed station was right in front of my room, and we could come in anytime during the day and see the giraffes right outside our room. At night coming from the parks or from Pleasure Island, we were able to go sit and relax outside.
I didn't stay in conceirge, never have in Disney World. So, I can't help you there.
I'll say that staying in a Savannah room was an experience I'll never forget.

We are return to AKL for our 4th time in 4 years. The first year was on savannah (normal), but the last two years, and this year, we are on conceirge.
Yes, it's expensive. But we like to do other things, and AKL conceirge makes available two different tours, only available to conceirge guests. The sunrise and sunset safaris.
We've done sunrise twice, and this year we are doing the sunset. We're tour freaks. :hammer:
Not sure what you meant by "I would rather have that luxury than concierge" Ringo? I'd say the two go together, and are not opposing things. AKL concierge rooms are the deluxe rooms, and you get the concierge lounge with the food, plus the staff that will do all your itiniary requests. I'd say that qualifies as luxury.
Or are you saying that if the resort doesn't have a monorail attached to it, it can't be seen at a luxury establishment. If that's the case, you can have the luxury 'cos I tend to stay away from the monorail. It always has that...you know...smell to it. The busses never seem to smell that way, but the monorail does.
