HELP! I need Christmas party ideas

We are going in 1 week and I have decided since the trip is not a surprise for our daughter, I want to surprise her with the Mickey Christmas Party. I am trying to think of ways we can surprise her with it. So far I am hoping my husband can occupy her for a bit in the arcade or something and I can run up to the room and place the tickets in the room with some sort of "invite" from Mickey. What I am struggling with is 2 things. How can I make it look like Mickey invited her? Would they write out a card at the front desk? Or does anyone have templates for printing something out ahead of time? The second thing is what do I place with it for Christmas attire? I don't have time to order anything other than on Amazon and I can't find much of anything on Amazon prime so it will arrive on time. I wanted some sort of Mickey Santa hat or Disney Christmas shirt. Do they sell them there in the resort gift shop or something? I was going to hit up the dollar store and get glow bracelets/necklaces so she can feel festive. I don't want to go overboard with cost since the party is so costly so I am wondering if anyone here has some other ideas?

How old is your daughter? I've been trying to plan something like this for my family's next trip... even though we are 2 years away :) I've thought about buying a small Christmas tree (3 foot ??) and sending it to the resort. I can then set it up and decorate it when others are swimming and surprise them when they come back to the room. Not sure if you'll have time to ship something to the resort within one week unless you pony up for overnight shipping.

If you google/bing 'free Disney fonts', there are several out there that you can download for free if you wanted to make your invites yourself. There is also plenty of clip art out there if you wanted to add pictures. Most places that have office paper (staples.. Office Max.. Target.. etc..) has Disney themed paper/stationary that you can run through your printer.

As far as clothing goes, the Christmas store at DS sells some festive items; I know they sell a cute little dress...just not sure if you'd have enough time to buy it. Maybe you could have your husband occupy her for a bit while you take a trip over to DS?

As someone else said, download a Disney font and type out an invitation. You can do a Google image search for Mickey's signature and include that at the bottom of the invite. I bet she'll get a kick out of it!

We did this for a trip over Christmas 2 or 3 years back. We couldn't have Christmas without a tree!! We actually packed it real tight and put it in a checked suitcase (it barely fit diagonally in the bag). We brought a strand of lights and used a mickey eared Christmas hat as a topper. On Christmas Santa left 1 gift and a note to enjoy the trip and he would leave the rest of the gifts at home. My son Loved it!!

We had bell services come and grab the bags and offered the tree to them. The guy thought it was awesome and said that if he it didn't bring it home with him would put it up in their break area.

Wow you guys are creative. If I could keep something a surprise, and was out of time, I think I would maybe get a red mickey balloon and just cut a black mickey head out of construction paper and use that red glitter ink and write please come to my party, love Mickey.

If he can give u 20-30 mins alone in the room I would pack some Christmas decorations and decorate the room or her bed and something for the outside of your door, and leave the tickets and glow bracelets for her to find inside. We pulled off a bday party in the room with presents and decorations for my 9 yr old step daughter and she loved it!!! I got a few cards from the DS and just signed them in fancy handwriting from Anna and Elsa and Minnie and Mickey...you could do the same with the tickets! Have fun and good luck!
