HELP! I need Akershus recipe!!

Hello All--- I am planning a brunch and would LOVE to serve Norway/Akershus's Shrimp Salad... it has the little salad shrimp in a creamy dressing with dill. Does anyone have a recipe for it? I've checked all the disney recipe sites I can find to no avail... Thanks!

Did a quick search and I also come up blank. When is your brunch? Try calling Disney and ask for the recipe, they are usually very accommodating. In the meantime I'll keep looking. :wave:

After living in Norway for eons, I'd guess that the dressing is mayonnaise, which is the most common component in most salads in Norway. I don't like mayonnaise, though, and I have to say that the shrimp salad at Akershus was really tasty. I'd guess that the coloring comes from beets.

And now that I write this, I'd guess that if you mix beets and mayonnaise in a blender, that'll give you the dressing!
