Help from any British Visitors Please

Hi Eveyone,

Have a quick question and I apologise if this has been asked before.
A work colleage has just book a trip to Florida for next April for 3 weeks. However she is having trouble with the park tickets. She wants tickets for all the parks (Disney, Universal, Seaworld etc) for the duration of her stay, but has been quoted £800 for all the family just for the Disney tickets. Is there anywhere we can get discounted tickets from here in the UK?
I couldn't help her as I always get mine through the travel agent when I book my holiday.

Any info would be very gratefully received.

Thank You x

I am not British. That probably goes without saying, but you never can tell.

That said, for a three week long stay, her best option is likely going to be simply buying annual passes for all the parks.

$400US for AP for Walt Disney World, $180 for Universal Orlando AP and $150 for Sea World/Busch Gardens comes to about $730US or 420GBP. This assumes that you'd be spending 21 days at each set of parks as well, which obviously isn't plausible. If she has a more concrete idea of how much she'd like to spend at each park, it ought to be cheaper still.

This all assumes, of course, that y'all can buy annual passes. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, but again, I'm not British :)

Disney do Ultimate Park Hoppers still, especially for us Brits, in 14 and 21 day versions.

I don't know how they compare to AP's though.

Hi there!:sohappy:

Try Virgin Holidays, as they sell park tickets etc. separately, i.e. you don't have to buy a package holiday with them, you can purchase tickets anyway. I believe thats where we've got our from this year.
Try http://www.attractionticketsdirect.co.uk/ aswell. They are really good value for all themepark passes.
Hope this helps,

This is not the case with WDW, as they can purchase special tickets in the UK that they don't sell here, e.g., 14 and 21 day hoppers. There was a thread last year sometime on this subject and the place that one of the members bought their tickets for WDW was www.themepark-tickets.com. They said they were the least expensive and he was happy with their service. I also note that they sell Universal and Seaworld on their site too. So for L277 you can get WDW 14day Ultimate pass, Universal 7 day and one day at Seaworld.

Greetings fellow Mancunian :wave:

As has been mentioned there are several sites on the internet which will sell 14 and 21 day tickets to us Brits - the tickets MUST be purchased in the UK before departure (ie they are not available on the USA)
The tickets are cheaper than buying an Annual Pass if you're using them for 21 days or less
Do not buy tickets from Virgin or other travel companies as you will pay significantly more.
The best deals I found when I last checked (March 3rd) was £183 for an adult for 21 days. However, if ordering check the small print on each site - one offers only ordinary 1st class mail postage (and takes no responsibility if the tickets get lost) another offers recorded delivery at no extra cost and finally price matching available.

The sites I've found are (listed in price order) -

onlineflorida.co.uk
themepark-tickets.com &
attraction-tickets-direct

PS - I've not used any of the sites yet and would love to hear feedback

Help is on it's way ....

A little help from a British Disney-obsessive - I am in the middle of planning a trip for next year, and have priced up the following types of tickets :-

21 day 'Park Hopper' style - £175 (but expires 21 days after first use, and does not give free parking at theme parks);
Annual Pass (has limitations, such as no free parking, no free access to waterparks etc) - £285;
Premium Annual Pass - £320 (includes access everywhere, and free parking at Disney theme parks).

Hope this helps! I think people have already mentioned the sites selling the 21 day pass (they also do a 14 day pass, plus passes for Sea World, Universal etc. etc.).

The Annual or Premium Annual pass has to be got directly from Disney, which I have done in the past, really easily. They send you a voucher, which you then redeem at one of the Guest Relations windows in the parks, and your pass does not begin until you redeem the voucher - so here's a tip : buy it as soon as you can afford it, as the prices go up every January!

Have fun! :sohappy:

Standard Annual pass does include Free Parking. It's the Florida resident's pass that does not :wave:
