Lines for rides vary based on time of year and time of day. They are usually shortest first thing in the morning or in the evening.

All Star Movies is a typical crowded value resort and the Disney transportation is a pain because it is shared with Music and Sports, but you get what you pay for. If you don't spend a lot of time at the hotel it's a good enough place to sleep at night.

There are salads and sandwiches in the refrigerators in the cafeteria that I'm sure you could bring to the parks, but good luck keeping them cool!

This will be my first trip in July so I can't help you there!

Here's the only pics I took of All Star Movies when we went in September.

They frown on bringing food into the park. Remember your bags will be searched. You can usually get away with a bottle of water or a juice box for the kids. Granola bars, fruit snacks...that kind of thing is OK. Not so sure you could get a full lunch past them.
There are plenty of places inside the parks that sell sandwiches and salads as well as full meals & all you can eat buffets.

The lines should be full in July...its one of the busier times of the year. We will be there the last weekend. Take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour in the morning &/or the E ride Nights. With careful planning you should do OK. Don't forget to take a break from the heat & sun. Stay well hydrated.

One more little thing...typing in all caps is the same as shouting and is not considered polite. Hope you have a great trip.
