Hi,
Just booked WDW Florida for May 2014 for me, my parents and two children, aged 13 & 8. The problem is I booked the park tickets as part of the hol with Virgin and I think I may have got the wrong ones, I have the flex tickets which don't include the magic kingdom, i have email Virgin to see if I can change them but no response as yet, is the magic kingdom the best part? That's where the castle is right? Can you buy tickets separately or can I bolt something on to the ones I have / swap them? Never been to Disney before, single parent so want to get it right, any help appreciated. Thank you xx

I am also from the UK. You need a ticket that will cover all the parks (magic Kingdom, Hollywood studios, animal kingdom, and Epcot) - there are also 2 water parks in Disney that you might want to check out too and that's normally on the same ticket. We just paid approx £450 for and adult ticket and that gets you everything Disney if that helps you work out what you, have got? Ours is also a flexible one so that you can park hop if you want to. (To allow you to go to one park in the morning and another in the afternoon) You may have the right one but just check with Virgin to be sure. Yes the Magic Kingdom is the one with the castle. If you want to go to Universal though that will be another ticket, as will Sea World. If you know anyone at work who goes to Disney I would strongly suggest you pick up with them for some tips

Thanks for that, pretty sure I have the wrong ones because mine cover universal studios, islands of adventure, sea world, wet and wild and aquatica. I paid £245 or something very similar, we're only going for a week due to kids school so I doubt we would need tickets to everything but I wondered if we could swap the ones we have for some that include the magic kingdom or maybe i'll see if we can buy them separately, you're right think I need to speak to a regular disney goer there's so much available haha x

Hi. Yes you have the wrong ones to get into Disney. Shame on Virgin if that's the case as I would have thought they would have given you all the options. If you want to see the castle you are going to need another ticket. There is nothing more than us "Disney freaks" like doing than talking about Disney. Everyone at work asks me. I do planners, give them tips etc as I love it so much. I am sure there will be someone you know who can help with more details. Hope you get it sorted. Welcome to the site and have a truly magical holiday.

Yes, the MK is the park with the castle. No, the Orlando Flex tickets don't get you into any of the Disney parks.

Yes, you can buy tickets to Disney, even just to the MK. I know UK people get better deals than we Americans, but I don't know all the options.

Hope you get it all worked out! :)
