HELP Compy Trouble

I need to install Win2k over XP.. I hate XP...

Now.. How do i get to my Comp's BIOS to set it to boot from my CDROM so it will read my Win2k disk.?. Because it wont let me install on XP.. Errr...

I'm running on a DELL Dimension XPS T550 if that helps..

Well-Known Member
You could always create a boot disk and then FDISK teh hard drive and start totally from scratch, but I dont recommend such hastey action. I just learned to live with XP.

As soon as the PC boots up look for a message saying hit [del], [esc] , [F1] or some other key to enter BIOS mode. From there look for the boot sequence and change it so your CD rom comes first. Save and restart. Your computer should find the CD right away.
