I am new to the forums, but have been a disney fan since I was a kid in the 70's. My parents and both sisters have also enjoyed the parks as well. I even visited with friends in my college days and even once after getting married and my wife had a conference at the Dolphin hotel in '96, I went to MK by myself. (big kid that I am) The previous week I was in Anaheim, CA for work and it turned out that I was staying just two blocks from DL entrance, and I went one night for the Mickeys Not so Scarry Halloween. (The only issue was Thunder Mnt and Matterhorn were closed for repairs and tomorrowland was not open except Space Mnt. Once my first son was born in 97 and I again went to MK in 97 (wife had a conference at Swan this year) I could not enjoy myself in Disney until I could take my kids to enjoy it as well. Now that my boys are older and they are not really into Disney the way I am, I will have to wait until I have grandkids before I can enjoy the parks again. Of course there will be a large number of changes by that time rolls around with the new the big changes going on at the HS and AK, plus I have yet to see the new FL at MK.

Hi. Welcome to the forums. Hopefully you will find them entertaining and informative. Personally, I would say don't wait until you have grandkids to go back to WDW. If you want to go, book a trip and go. You don't need children to justify or enjoy a trip the world.
