I've already made a few posts, but I just now found the introductions area!

Hubby and I have been going to DL and DCA for a long time now (me since 1967, him since 1977), and are making our first trip to WDW this summer. He's basically retired, and (as you can guess) I am a school teacher. (What I will be teaching next year is yet to be decided, due to budget cutbacks and a lot of people moving around the district.)

Is there anybody here from the old DISNEY echo (forum) on FidoNet? I used to be on that, back 20 years ago or so. Fun forum, and I met more than one cast member at DL through that echo/forum.

Yup, FidoNet is old....

...and is no longer around, to my knowledge. I was a part of FidoNet for about 9 years, though ('91 to 2000), and participated on quite a few of its echoes (forums). Once in a while, I've run into someone I knew on FidoNet, on the Internet. Some are now friends on FB. It was a smaller community.
