My first experience with WDW was Presidents Weekend 1980, I was 17, on vacation with my parents, and witnessed nothing but lines and I vowed never to return, I even laughed at the sign announcing Epcot Center was coming in 1982.
Then I met my wife who was adamant that we go to WDW on our honeymoon, I put a brief fight, lost, and since honeymoon year in 1993, we’ve been every year and sometimes twice, with the exception of a planned break in 2019, a unplanned break in 2020, and we are currently holding off until 2026 for our next trip. I was bitten the first time I stepped on Main Street USA with my wife, it’s been that way ever since despite its flaws, there is simply no place that makes you feel you are away from it all and your inner child can roam free! I’m looking forward to being here.
