A few things....I'm thinking about taking my 17 year old cousin to WDW for the first time. She happens to be a little person, which made wonder if she would be able to meet or exceed the Height requirements for rides such as splash mountain. Is there a place online where I can find information regarding height requirements/restrictions for individual rides? Also...in the event she is to short to get on some of the attractions, do you think it would be wise to avoid disney all togather? I don't want any feelings hurt....I just need to know there is going to be enough do. I've been to wdw hundreds of times...so its hard to take myself out of the equation and think in terms of meeting the needs of my cousin...what do you think?

I don't think you should avoid WDW altogether if your cousin is too short to ride the coasters. There are plenty of other rides & attractions. I would assume that at 17 she is well aware of the fact that she's small and because of that may not be able to ride some of the rides. It is something she is going to have to learn to live with. That said, I hope she *is* able to ride the rides she wants to and has a great time.

Edit: I just checked over the height requirements at the site Nemo14 posted. You may want to stay away from the Autopia. You have to be over 4' tall to drive the car alone. If she is driving at home, that might be kind of a bummer for her.

Im sure there would be exceptions to the heights if she went to guest relations and explained everything too them. You have to understand that Height limits are there for Safty and also for age. They are not going to say you have to be 8 to ride this ride but they can say you have to be 42 inches and then if the kids 5 and 42 inches tall its all good. I would check with guest Relations when you get there and see what they can tell you.

No exceptions on Mission:SPACE it's there because of the restraints. If you're too short there's a good chance your chin won't clear the restraint itself leaving a chance of injury.

Yes, the requirements are for the restraint systems, to make sure they work properly.

The tallest requirement is 52" to drive a Indy racecar ALONE, but you can always do it with an adult, reguardless of hieght.
