I was down in San Francisco, and man, it was quite cool. My kind of weather. But in Sacramento, it's going to be quite another story: outrageously hot temperatures beyond 100 degrees for a few days! I hate the heat!
My dad had originally planned (though it's questionable now) to go down to San Jose (which is a bit hotter than SF but much cooler than Sacramento) to help sell a house. I want to accompany him, if for no other reason than to escape from the heat at least temporarily. But dad had insisted that I stay home where it's hot. He says I would get bored down there and no one else would let me stay there. I want to get away from the heat! I don't want to have to deal with the costly (in more ways than one) air conditioning in our house. What can I do?
