Hi ALL!,
We leave on 10/21/13 - all paid, online check-in done, ADRs made (but would love an earlier Ohana!)!
When would we expect our Magical Express luggage tags?

We leave September 12, next Thursday. We received of MagicBads about a week and half ago, but we have not received our resort tags, or resort package yet(magical blue envelope) which I'm little bummed about because I love receiving them in the mail, it says its getting closer. My travel agent called DME and they're issuing new tags but if I do not receive them I can go to DME desk with our check baggage receipts and we can take Magical Express and they will get our luggage just the same. As for our resort package it will be at the resort when we check in.

Hiya, WDW-LUVR,
I'm sure it will all come together. Its a mixed bag - all the wonderful little steps to get there, but also the WAIT to get them. All part of the WDW experience. The anticipation is great, but, as happened with us before - they did not send the correct number of luggage tags. A few phone calls, and all was well!
Have a wonderful time - all but impossible not to!

Your absolutely right Bill, it's impossible not to have a wonderful time. They sent them to my previous address, last year I received them at our new address. LOL My motto is(nothing, what a matter with you) Hakuna Matata. I did make a phone call to my travel agent and she did her MAGIC and everything is all taken care of.

You just have to keep an eye peeled for the mailman and each day hope theres that envelope. We've had ours show up 3 weks before, a couple of weeks , a week, and even two days before we left. That one was terrifying, we contacted Disney and were told what to do if the ME tags didnt show, but the next day they were there. WHEW. Then I was in such a rush to put them on the bags I thought I applied the tag wrong, :arghh: ( can't remove the tag after pushing the sticky sides together) fortunately it was on right :facepalm:.

As scary as that was, it is still a great memory!
We are also now waiting for our Visa Disney Rewards card - at least 3-4 meals on that puppy!!

Our experience with the Rewards card has been that they've shown up within a week of calling in. Never has been as frantic a wait.

I requested the redemption card on 8/29, so I have to wait a bit (5-7 business days?)

For all those kind folk who responded - our rewards card arrived yesterday. The 6 th business day, within the time frame, and exact! Will definitely help with the Cali dinner!!! In my wallet and ready to go!!
