Hearing Things

A friend reminded me of this, and I decided that I would ask people on this board.

A few years ago, I had stayed at Vero Beach. The ceiling fan in the room had this habit of speeding up and slowing down, and there was no way to turn it off. Anyway, that night I suddenly realized that it sounded very, very simmilar to the waves washing up on shore.

Anyway, my next stay that week was at the Wildernes Lodge. This time, the fan had this chirping sound, just like crickets.

Am I hearing things?

Nope, your hearing is fine. :D

Did you ever notice that the frogs & turtles in the bog at the WL "turn off" at midnight? It comes back to life in the morning.
Disney "magic".

So the fans at Vero Beach are supposed to do this? If they are, how strange yet brillinant.
