Hey guys,

Just looking for suggestions of any good counter service places that serve 'healthier' options?

I dont quite mean the usual ceasar salad...something a bit more.. e.g. tuna steaks, etc.

Park name with area name and counter service restaurant would really help.

We are heading to Orlando in just over 2 weeks :D

The first options I think of are Columbia Harbor House in MK (grilled salmon, steamed broccoli), Tangeriene Cafe in Epcot (vegetarian platter, grilled chicken, tabbouleh), Sunshine Season in Epcot (lots of soups, grilled options, and vegetables).

You can get salads and wraps and many of the counter service places also. We tend to split meals because the portion sizes are large which is also helpful in cutting down on the calories. You can usually get a bottle of water, fresh fruit, or yougurt for dessert in many places (good to know if you are on the dining plan!).

.

These were the first that came to mind for me also.
I'll add the chicken, mash potato, broccoli plate at Cosmic Rays. Sushi or chicken teriyaki in Japan at Epcot. And as Starring Rolls in Hollywood Studios you can get a nice healthy sandwich with side of fruit. At Animal Kingdom Yak and Yeti also has healthy choices such as Salmon and chicken breast with rice and vegetables.
You can also ask for healthier options at table service restaurants and most will accommodate.

You have a lot of good suggestions from the previous posters. I'll add that the Mara at the Animal Kingdom Lodge has some interesting things. There are a couple pitas (falafel or chicken) that I would love. There are also some salads there.

I just thought about the Art of Animation resort food court, too. It appears that they have a lot of healthy (and some not so healthy options!) also.

I think this is a really solid list. I would maybe add the Mexico Cantina quick service to the list for Epcot.
