Healthcare Jobs at WDW

Hey guys,

My wife and I are in the dentistry and pharmacy professions. We have been monitoring www.disneycareers.com but we don't seem to see health professions on there much.

Does WDW have a dental clinic or pharmacy for its employees where they may need this type of profession?

What health professions have you heard of them hiring?

Hmm, the only thing health related I can think of would be the in-park nurses.

My packet about the CareerStart program said that there is a pharmacy within walking distance of the apartments, but it didn't mention whether it was Disney sponsored or not.

If I were you, I'd call casting and ask them specifically!

The only thing health related that I can think of would be either:

Reedy Creek Paramedic/EMT
Health Services (@ Epcot for CM's)
In Park Nurses (Like Taryn said)

Other than that there's no real dentists or anything like that on Disney property.

No - they don't employee any healthcare professionals (neuropsychologist here and have also inquired in the past) -- They use the local Orlando healthcare systems for any needs. They have in-park nurses that work sort of like "triage" and take care of trivial or emergency problems, but otherwise refer to the Orlando system. There isn't a pharmacy on site - CM's must use the pharmacies located in Orlando. Healthcare is not an area that Disney has expanded into. Note that they do not contract out, either -- they just refer to local resources.
