I just received an e-mail from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
"The bridges connecting the Aruba and Jamaica Islands to Old Port Royale are temporarily closed to all pedestrian traffic. If your Guest room is located on one of these Islands, your path of travel to Old Port Royale will be affected. As an alternative, shuttle transportation will be available daily from 6:30am until 12:30am. Additionally, boat transportation will be available daily from Aruba Beach to Old Port Royale from 9:00am until dusk, weather permitting."
I called and them and confirmed that this work has already started and that they have an estimated completion date of late November.
