Tsunami are by nature unpredictable. "Much ado about nothing" after warnings is preferable to "Oh my God! How could the Government not warn people that this was coming? How many lives might have been spared?"Unless something changes dramatically, this sure was much ado about nothing.

As a former Ground Search and Rescue Team Leader, having sat on high ground for many hours with SCUBA gear at my side waiting for a call that thankfully never came, I'm eternally grateful. But if you do even a little research, you can find out what the potential outcome of a failure to take precautions might be. I can tell you that taking the potential devastation of a tsunami lightly would be unconscionable negligence on the part of authorities.
Silly me - I worried about people's lives actually being in danger.....of course damage to a Disney project would be much more devastating!
