Hi, I am new to this site! I am making a trip there in a few weeks and I am so excited! I was just wondering, are there any special merchandise offers going on in the parks? In the past they've had if you spend so much you can get a blanket, jacket or watch for an additional $10. I've checked into this but so far couldn't find anything. Would any of you happen to know? Someone may know for sure, and I'm not sure where to direct you, but yes they do have such 'sales'. My mother got a really cute tote for 'free' after she went shopping in MK! I say 'free' b/c it's never really that way b/c you usually have to spend so much, but that's like at any store! I do believe that you can pay an extra $5 or $10 and get an additional specific item sometimes as well.

I think there are always "special" offers like that. Which doesn't really make them special, does it? In all my times going to Disney, I don't remember a time when there wasn't one of these offers.

when we were there over Halloween last year we got a plush jiminy cricket for 5$ and were offered a tote at some other stores as well.

It sometimes varies from store to store.

All I've noticed lately is a tote bag. It was cute enough to make me consider buying it, but I need another Disney tote bag like I need a hole in the head and it wasn't THAT cute! So, not cute enough to make me actually buy it, but cute enough to consider.

Welcome to the group and have fun on your upcoming trip! If you make it over to Downtown Disney (or whatever they are calling it now) check in the World of Disney. They usually have some offer going but if I remember correctly there is always a minimum purchase (I think it was $50 the last time I was there but that was three years ago and someone else may be able to clarify).
