I am going to WDW in March. We booked at the Days Inn Lake Buena Vista b/c we don't plan on being in our rooms much. Was it a good choice or not? We didn't want to spend a ton of money.

I would look into the price of a value resort (All Stars / Pop Century) so you could stay on property. They may have discounts available.

We haved stayed there. Neither was for a Disney trip. The first time was OK, clean and relatively quite. But the second time was horrible, unclean and right next to Old town which is a shopping, amusment area with a Bungy type ride. Lots of screamming till about midnight. Not a good night.

I would go with the value resorts, they are about the same price we paid for the other place.

I guess you are not referring to the same Days Inn (There will be more than one near Disney). Old Town is in Kissimmee / 192 not Lake Buena Vista.

I've not stayed at Days Inn Lake Buena Vista, but I have stayed at Comfort Inn. It was a great location that I got at half the price of a Disney Value resort - which over a two week stay is a not inconsiderable saving. If all you are doing with the room is sleeping in it, you should be fine.
