Hey all.!

I'm contemplating on trying the: Doubletree Club Lake Buena Vista Hotel. It's the bright yellow colored hotel that is located basically across the street from the Crossroads shopping area. Has anyone ever stayed there or have any information on the quality of it.?
I love staying in that area. I have stayed ay Comfort Inn LBV on Palm Pkwy quite a few times and that place is so/so. I just want something different for around 60-80.00/night. I am planning on a late April trip.

Any info is helpful. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! :xmas:
THANKS IN AVANCE,

LOU

It is a bit older of a hotel, and parking can be rough.

DON'T DO IT!

I cancelled a recent stay there because of terrible reviews from a frined of mine. It's old, has that "old hotel smell" (ie. mold!), and has a small unattractive pool area. The hot tub was out of order when they were there, and the only place to get food was a little coffe shop (AuBon Pain) in the Hotel.

Depite it's location, they said it was difficult (and dangerous) to walk anywhere from the Hotel due to the lack of proper sidewalks and crossings. Walking to Downtown Disney, they said, was out of the question! The most frustrating thing, they said was the extreme LACK OF PARKING!!! There's not even enough for Hotel guests! They were directed to another neighboring business's lot!!!

I can recommend, however, the Radisson almost across the street from the Double Tree Club. It has a very "Poly" feel to the pool area and, while an older Hotel, was spotless and did not smell! From here, we COULD walk to restaurants and Crossgate!

Check them both out online before deciding! Hope that helps!

Stay on property All stars or Pop is very cheep! If your looking for low cost,Disney resorts have very good security.Lots of the off interstate hotels have a problem with room invasions.

No....they really don't....it is really nota problem here in Orlando, unless you are staying on OBT in Holden Heights.

Have stayed on property many times, just trying cut a few small costs to make our trip in april alittle less expensive. I'd like to try and get a nice place for around $60-80.00/night but aint sure if thats possible, expecially for the month of April.

What can I expect to pay for a WDW resort in mid April.?? Can I exopect to maybe see a special in rates for that time.??

Thanks & Merry Christmas!
