Haunted Mansion Live Actors

Was anyone there to experience "live actors" in the Haunted Mansion? It was short-lived due to the actors getting physically attacked by the frightened guests. I witnessed a "Phantom of the Opera" character and there was a knight in armor as well. Maybe more but that's what I can recall. Mid to late 80's to early 90's but not sure of the exact dates they did this.

No I did not get to experience this version of the Haunted Mansion but I'm glad I didn't as I feel it had the potential to take away from the overall experience.

for DLR's mansion, they had live actors throughout the mansion for it's 50'th anniversary in 2019. There was one in the endless hallway dressed as a knight, with an axe, one in the ballroom, and one dressed as gus in the hitchhiking ghosts scene. You can see in this video, it's not quite the same as it was, they don't come at your doom buggy trying to scare the crap out of you, but it was a nice little detail for the 50'th anniversary for their HM.
