Haunted Mansion Holiday Rumor

I began to read the new Disney Magazine that had come in the mail today when I noticed them talking about the Haunted Mansion Holiday which was returning to Disneyland this coming October. Now I had heard before that this version was so popular that Walt Disney World wanted to do their own version of the Haunted Mansion Holiday but it appears not to happen this year or else it would have already been announced. What ever happened to this rumor and will it ever come to pass?

It's entirely possible. The same thing (kinda) is going on with the CBJ. For about a year, WDW has been slowly getting props from the Hoedown, but the head CMs are confident the hoedown will be back next summer.

Remember, AAs, props, everything has to be constructed. It can't be done in such a snap... But there are some high chances that HM Holiday would come here. Eh, not too excited.

The hard part is done. Adapting Danny Elfman's music, (which is wonderful) is already done.

Most the props are just cheap cardboard flats. It would be easy to replicate at WDW.

HmH is going to be put in. There have been Imagineers in the HM after hours and it is said to be installed in 2003.

As long as this version of the Haunted Mansion gets that would be neat. It wouldn't be too hard, just a moderate rehab of the attaction and they have it put together for October. The merchandising team probably can't wait for 2003.
