Haunted Mansion Closing For Summer

Disney's official website, as well as other internet sites, are reporting that the Haunted Mansion will be closed from June 6 - September 12 this year.

That's a pretty long rehab - let's hope that all of the Disneyland enhancements are made and the ride is restored to its opening-day glory.

Thanks for posting. WDW's mansion really needs a bit of sprucing up. Too bad it is over the busy summer season though.

There is SO MUCH in the Mansion that could use a serious rehab...lets hope that all of the great adjustments from DL make it to Florida.

Figures I leave there the 8th. One of my favorite rides and now thats twice in six visits it will be closed for a refurb while I'm there.

Do you know if that means it will be closed on the sixth of June or will it be closed on the seventh of June. I've never been at Disney World while an attraction closes before so I want to make sure I visit it on its last day of operation.

I really hope they get rid of the 1950s Fun House spiders with day-glo paint.....but I really like the rest of the Mansion....

and if they do, I'll certainly be interested in buying the 1950s fun house spiders on eBay I'm so happy the Haunted Mansion is finally getting some love...it's one of my favorites (well who doesn't consider it one of their favorites?).

I'm sad that it will be closed during my trip to WDW, June 19th-24th. But I'm elated that HM is finally getting the TLC it has so deperately needed for so many years.

Now I have an excuse to go back next year, since HM is my all time favorite ride, I will HAVE to make a return trip to check out the changes.:sohappy:Then I can take my son for his first trip to WDW, he will be 1 by that point.

I have a seasonal pass and I have a blackout date throughout summer, I HATE going then anyways so good thing I will miss the refurb mostly if it is here.
