Hate to say it, but we're already back...I
Let me start with I had to tell my dd9 3 days before we left. I told her when I went to talk to her teacher about her missing school. She didnt believe it until a day or so later when she saw me really packing. Anywho, needless to say she was very excited to be going! Day 1, the morning of had to catch our flight on SW airlines, I was nervous about this with not having assigned seats but it worked good we got the 3 of us together and we were "A". We also arrived to MCO a half hour earlier so in about an hour we are at POP! Great room, had a view of nightly fireworks at EPCOT! Our first night of dinner was at Concourse Steak. I was seriously looking forward to some lobster bisque, but when I got it was disappointed. I was expecting pretty much what we had at Coral Reef, NOT! But it still made for being able to get to MK quick and have a good time on our fav rides as well as me trying and falling in love with my first Dole Whip! And loved seeing Wishes. And yes, me and dd9 were singing the song at the end.
Day2 was at EPCOT. Had a fabulous lunch at Alfredo. We had Chicken Parm and Penne w/bolognese as a couple of dishes. Glad we got to experience this restaurant before it closed. Then off to WS for a ride through Mexico as well as a Margarita. Also my dd9 was able to be a Jr Chef. Crowds didnt seem so bad (it could have been the margarita) but we got a lot of pix of the icons for each country as well as a lot of pin shopping. Did Spaceship Earth on our way out, before heading to Shutters at CBR (an old place we wanted to visit) for dinner. We werent too hungry so the Spicy Wings with a baked potato was enough for me. DD9 enjoyed her Salmon. Then after we walked around the resort having a great time at the park and more shopping! I will continue on another thread, so as not to make this tooooo lonnnngggg...
