Any news about the Hatbox ghost coming to WDW?

One can only hope. I loved seeing it when I went to DL a few weeks ago but wondered how it would fit in with the story of the bride. Somehow it seemed to work.

The problem with it is that how quickly you pass by him it is hard to catch the head moving.

I seem to remember his head being timed so you would see it switch at least once as you passed.

In a word, no.

While there has been rabid speculation that some version of the new figure would come to Florida even before the California version was unveiled, Disney hasn't made even the first tease, hint, or suggestion that they plan on installing a version at the Magic Kingdom.

That doesn't mean it won't, but right now we have exactly zero indications that it might happen any time soon.

I was able to see it since I was expecting it, but when I asked my parents they had no clue what I was talking about. I had to point it out at the exact moment for them to catch it.

Maybe he might be added for WDW's 50th Anniversary like he did when he showed up at Disneyland for it's 60th. But that's just my idea.

Just made my first trip to DL last month and Hatbox Ghost was pretty cool to see in person after seeing all the videos. The Haunted Mansion is my son's fav attraction and he went nuts when he saw HG. I'm hoping we don't have to wait 5 years to get it at MK.

If he is coming which I hope he is, then I'm sure they are waiting until Disneyland's 60th finishes as he was a big part of the marketing to draw people to Disneyland for the celebration and having him appear at WDW would stop that. They could also be holding out until the 50th but that seems an awful long way away and by then people probably wouldn't even care about him anymore.
