hat shop question

Hi,
We are taking our kids (6, 4, and 8 weeks--are we crazy?) on their first disney trip in two weeks! My kids desperately want mouse ears to wear to MK as a souveneir. Question--Does the hat shop in MK open before the park? I seem to remember it is on Main Street. We are following the "Unofficial Guides" advice and getting there well before opening time. It'd be nice to get them at MK so they can have their names on them. Thanks everyone!

I don't remember the Hat shop opening early. Depending on the morning, they let people in about 8:45 (this may have changed though) you could probably get ears then! Good luck and have fun!

hello i know you will have a good time.i started taking my kids when they were 5 months.as far as the hat shop you can't get in the magic kingdom before it opens unless you have a breakfast reservation or its early entry. so once the gates open the rides are too.main street is open at night for a while after the park closes.

Not all shops have the machines for embroidering the names, but I think that they do it in one of the shops on Main Street. I remember walking through a shop on the last day of my visit, seeing the embroidering machines, and thinking "here it is, but I don't have my hat".

We had our ears done first thing upon entering the park. They embroidered them right away. If you make that your very first stop, it shouldn't take very long.

Oh, by the way, we took our daughter when she was 3 1/2 months old. It wasn't as hard as one would think. We did bring our own stroller, because the one's there don't recline.

shop is on the right as you enter Main Street. Wasn't overly busy when we were there. Just stopped in during the afternoon.
