Hasbro Introduces a New Line of Toys Based On Lilo & Stitch
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (Business Wire) -- On June 21, Disney will release its heartwarming family comedy, Lilo & Stitch. Hasbro, Inc. will bring the movie characters off the screen and into the hands of kids everywhere with a wide array of cool new toys from this highly anticipated animated film. This new animated comedy tells the tale of a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly 'dog,' whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. With its lush tropical setting, unique sense of humor and classic songs by Elvis Presley, Lilo & Stitch promises to capture imagina-tions everywhere. · Lilo & Stitch Basic Figures are fun figures inspired by the movie that have a unique way to be activated! Double Laser Stitch has twist n' blast action; twist his waist and he fires two projectiles! Spittin’ Stitch has real spitting action: hold him underwater to fill him up, then squeeze him to open his mouth and spit. Skit-terin’ Stitch features pull-back skitterin' and break-through action.
· Lilo & Stitch Deluxe Figure Two-Packs are a pair of fun figures from the movie that have unique move-ments. Cruisin’ Stitch with Pleaky has three features: push Stitch's arm for cool sound effects; press the button to make Pleaky's eye and tongue bug out; and Stitch's wheel-wobblin' trike rolls and features cool electronic screeching-tire sounds.
