Has Disney foreshadowed its own future in the Santa Clause 3?

This movie came on, never really watched it and it doesn’t hold a candle to the first one but the part where frost takes over the North Pole kind of reminds me of what’s going on now, like the contradicted themselves

You want a really good one that has an Iger like character check out Ron's Gone Wrong.

There's a part in here where they explain this version of Santa doesn't deliver gifts anymore, then another part where they say people pay to be on the Nice list, and that never made sense to me since removing the gift deliveries removes the reason for having naughty and nice lists to begin with (and it being openly a paid thing removes any moral reason to want to be on it).

But putting it in the context of Disney, yeah, I could see people paying solely to have their name on a list.

I’m not sure it’s a contradiction but an accurate reflection of how much of the company and its leadership views the park. They’re stupid entertainment for stupid people. That’s why they’re not allowed to do things on their own, they have to follow and be micromanaged by “real” executives.

Ironic considering they require “high level” means from travelers now…not a good recipe if you think they’re all idiots

OK, most of you know I am currently 76 years old. I am fortunate that my memory for some items goes back a long way. Thus the following short story.

When I was 4, I clearly remember going to a place (actual location) North Pole, NY. That would have been in 1952. Santa's Workshop opened in 1949 and is a theme park. It was named Santa's Workshop where you paid to get in meet Santa (briefly) be shown actual Reindeer and were photographed sitting in Santa's sleigh. Plus other stuff that I know was there but I can't recall in any believable degree.
This idea or blatant attempt at profiteering from a highly anticipated event for children everywhere is not new. Nor did it cause society to crumble. As you can see by the website it still exists as a year round attraction.

Another location is in New Hampshire opened in 1953...
We took our own children to this one, more that once.

Been to both to, the one in New York when I was there sadly was part abandoned, New Hampshire one is such a great park. The Workshop is like a Christmas version of image works or at least was, I haven’t been there in 20 years. Clark’s Trading Post is one I’m itching to get back to, if almost looks like some forgotten Walt Disney project if there was one before Disneyland.
