This movie came on, never really watched it and it doesn’t hold a candle to the first one but the part where frost takes over the North Pole kind of reminds me of what’s going on now, like the contradicted themselves

Ironic considering they require “high level” means from travelers now…not a good recipe if you think they’re all idiotsI’m not sure it’s a contradiction but an accurate reflection of how much of the company and its leadership views the park. They’re stupid entertainment for stupid people. That’s why they’re not allowed to do things on their own, they have to follow and be micromanaged by “real” executives.
Been to both to, the one in New York when I was there sadly was part abandoned, New Hampshire one is such a great park. The Workshop is like a Christmas version of image works or at least was, I haven’t been there in 20 years. Clark’s Trading Post is one I’m itching to get back to, if almost looks like some forgotten Walt Disney project if there was one before Disneyland.OK, most of you know I am currently 76 years old. I am fortunate that my memory for some items goes back a long way. Thus the following short story.
When I was 4, I clearly remember going to a place (actual location) North Pole, NY. That would have been in 1952. Santa's Workshop opened in 1949 and is a theme park. It was named Santa's Workshop where you paid to get in meet Santa (briefly) be shown actual Reindeer and were photographed sitting in Santa's sleigh. Plus other stuff that I know was there but I can't recall in any believable degree.
This idea or blatant attempt at profiteering from a highly anticipated event for children everywhere is not new. Nor did it cause society to crumble. As you can see by the website it still exists as a year round attraction.North Pole, NY home of Santa's Workshop
