Has anyone rented from AAA Car Care Center at Disney?

Looking for info and tips on renting a car for two days from the Car Care Center while staying at Animal Kingdom. I've read that you can get a shuttle to and from the Car Care Center. Has anyone done this and did everything go smoothly? Would you recommend Alamo or National? And are there any outside companies that any one knows of that will come to Disney to drop off and pickup a car for you? Thanks for the help!

One Little Spark...
I rented a Sebring Convertable from National last trip. They picked us up at the hotel in a shuttle, and the whole process was painless. When I returned the vehicle to the Car Care Center, they gave me a ride back to my hotel as well. All you have to do to schedule a pickup is call the Car Care Center.

There's also a gas station right there next to the Car Care Center, so you can top off your tank before returning the car quite easily.

Overall, pretty easy peezy.

As far as National over Alamo, they are about the same in my book. Alamo sometimes has better rates, in my experience. But, it's really about the same. I've rented from both...a lot...over the years, and have no horror stories to tell.

Now, Budget Auto is a different story. But, National and Alamo are both pretty safe in my book.

We have done this 3 times, and it is always easy. We always take the Magical Express from the airport and then rent the car from the car care center.

We have done rented a car from the Car care Center on our last few trips for one day to visit family in the area. It is very easy to do. You need to call the night before or at least an hour before you want to be picked up to arrange the shuttle. You will meet it at a specified time at the front entrance to your hotel. It takes you to the Car Center where you take care of the paperwork and pesky things like paying. Then you are on your way. The people there are very nice and helpful. We have never had long lines. When you return the car, they will provide a shuttle back to your hotel (just make sure you do it during the shuttles' hours of operation). Another option is to pick it up or return it to the Dolphin. Both Alamo and National are there as well, but there is no shuttle. We usually pick up the car at the Car Care Center using the shuttle to get there and then return it first thing the next morning to the Dolphin. We then hop the boat to Epcot or the Studios by opening. Whichever way you do it, it is very easy to do.
