Has anyone purchased the book Dining at Walt Disney World??

We are not going until December 17, 2015, so I wonder if I should purchase this sometime before my 180 reservation date (June 21st) to try to get ideas for some new places to eat (tough with a very fussy DH). Is this book good??? Or should I wait until closer to my trip to see if there is a newer addition?

I think that this site, along with others on the internet, will provide an ample amount of information without costing you a cent. A little homework on your computer should negate the need to purchase a book. If not, then I would imagine that there is no harm in waiting to see if a newer edition of the aforementioned book is published over the next several months before you commit to a purchase.

I have the book and it's helpful. There are chapters on how to make the hard-to-get reservations, the dining plan, rapid refill mugs, budgeting, etc. The chapters on the restaurants list what is offered and general price points. However, I find the Disney Food Blog to be tremendously helpful with reviews, full menu information with pricing and information on special events like the dessert parties and the Food and Wine Festival. I would advise you to check that site first. I think it's pretty amazing.
