Has anyone been to AK with a small child who LOVED "It's Tough To Be A Bug?"

Yes, but it was my cousin who loves to collect and study bugs, he thought it was cool.

Many kids hate it not for the bug theme, but for the in theatre effects. The dark lighting and heavy fog also add to the scare factor. Philharmagic has effects, but isn't near as dark or erie.

Last time we went to it, the younger kids in the crowd seemed to love it. There was a girl that was in her teens that got scared to death, jumped on her mom's lap, especially when the stinger comes out.
She cried during the stink bug scene. I was laughing, it was so funny to see how she was acting.

My youngest son was a few weeks away from his 5th BDay the first time we saw it and he just loved it..........But, his 7 yo brother was scared to death!

So...... we haven't been back to it since!

Maybe when DH and I go by ourselves in Sept i can see it again....

My kids nearly freak out every time we see it. But they never seem to remember how much it scares them and they always beg to go back. Go figure.

I love watching the reaction of all the women in the audience when the bugs "exit the theatre". It's even better than the mice in HISTA.

Our 4 year old loved it, especially the stinky part!

Our almost 2 year old fell asleep during it...go figure!

We loved it a lot, more than Muppets 3-D. Especially the bugs leaving the theater. My wife was halfway straddling the seat and didn't feel it. I sure did! I jumped up and she practically chewed me out for embarassing her! Thank godness my inlaws felt it as well!

Would definitely do it again! Great for getting out of the heat for a few minutes and some small wind-down time!

My DS7 has enjoyed it since he was 2 1/2. My DD3's first Bug experience was at 4 months and has enjoyed it about every 6 months since.

Don't laugh...
It's terrifying for some of us. It scared the pants off me when I was 16 and I also cried.

My youngest enjoyed it at 2, 4 and 6. I think sitting up front in the right hand side of the theater would have produced a different result.
