Hard Rock Pool - Is it true you can't swim?

I stayed there once years ago, but didn't use the pool much. I've been reading some online reviews stating that the pool is so shallow at the HRH, that adults really can't swim, but rather just wade.

Is this true?

Royal Pacific is like that as well. Is it the same type of pool? I've skinned my knees and stubbed my toes more than once in that pool.

Same here...good for small kidos though!

From what I remember I didn't have any problem swimming in the pool...I think it ranged in depth from 2-3 feet to 5 feet.

Off topic but we stayed at the MGM grand in Vegas and this was exactly the same...

3ft deep pools... I guess they're more for chilling and having a beer in but then again I thought the hard rock played music underwater ago you could hear it while swimming/diving?
