Time for another silly American holiday!!!! Today is national picnic day so what Disney food would you consider to be perfect for this holiday?

Time for another silly American holiday!!!! Today is national picnic day so what Disney food would you consider to be perfect for this holiday?

Well as it's St Georges Day in the UK i would have to go with Traditional Fish and Chips .. Seated on the Grass waterside With a glass of Ale to wash it down (or Orange Juice for us nonchoholics )

Sometimes we go over to Fort Wilderness and go to Trails Inn and get a "Bucket" of chicken combo meal to go... then head over to the water and head over to the picnic tables for a relaxing moment away the Magic... but still in the bubble!!

A selection of sandwiches from ther Earl's and some fried chicken from the 50 PTC.

A couple turkey legs, or chicken caesar salads, with carrot cake for dessert.

A cheeseburger from Pecos Bill or I want to try a hot dog from Caseys! Corn on the cobb is necessary but I can't remember ever eating it on property.

A bucket of Fried Chicken...Baby back ribs..Slaw dogs...Fixin Bar..Plenty of chilled Chenin Blanc in a cool box..Oh and plenty of fries..And a box of Kleenex for your face.

Well, AK had a picnic-in-the-park when we were there in 09'. It was great! It consisted of a roasted chicken, 2 sides(I believe), 4 drinks, & dessert. We took it to a table & enjoyed the scenery.

I forgot to mention my boys love the sandwiches from the Kringla bakery or the french bakery! They grab them and find a shady spot and there's nothing left for the ants!

No turkey legs allowed at my picnic. Just the thought...yuck. Ceaser salad sounds good, though. Or the chicken strips at CHH. Or one of those hummus sandwiches from there. I would take it over to TSI for my picnic.

Corn on the cobb is available at Whispering Canyon Cafe and Pecos Bills. Probably a few other places as well, but I know both of those offer it up.

Get some brats & beer from Sommerfest, find a nice spot along the water or really just outside and you've got a nice little picnic. Hmmmm...if I added in some German potato salad it would be perfection.

BBQ sandwich and house made chips from capt cooks and a piña colava (in a plastic cup of course) sitting in a hammock on the Poly Beach enjoying the view of the Castle!

None for me, thanks! I really hate eating outside! Some of the QS meals are even a stretch, but at least everything is clean.

Flame Tree BBQ - anything on the menu. And the picnic area is around back next to the little water feature with the funky statues. Love that spot.
