Happy New Year! When I saw that Sorcerer Mickey Hat with the fireworks behind it...my GOSH...amazing! They need to have Sorcery in the Sky more often!

I saw that too, and I agree! I want to wish everyone a happy new year! I hope this year is as good or better than this past year for everyone out there. This is my first post of 2002! Many more to come!

I never thought it was terrible..mainly because its 100x better than what they did to Spaceship Earth!

I like the Sorcerer's Hat, it's the perfect icon for MGM, maybe it doesn't coincide exactly with the celebration being held, but it gives the park a new identification which can be good for people who weren't convinced that the Earfel Tower was good enought to compete with Spaceship Earth or Cinderella's Castle.

I spent New Year's Eve at Epcot, and witnessed an amazing fireworks display after the usual Illuminations.

But a question comes to mind after hearing that two parks were full on the day - presumably MK & Epcot (?).
How many people does it take before the parks are declared 'full'?

I'm guessing you want something a little more indepth than "a lot", or "when it gets really really really crowded." Unfortunately I don't know. It would be interesting to know the parks' capacity though. Also, is this just a fire hazard thing, or do the Disney people pick the number?
