ok.. today I'm happy!!

Yesterday, I went to a thrift store in Orlando (Saver's) on my search for random Disney stuff (thrift stores in Orlando are ANY Disney freaks heaven).. well, anyhoo.. I went to the plush section. I swear, the Disney merchandise warehouse HAD to have made a donation of old stuff.

I bought a TON of plushes that were like new (some needed washing, and others needed to be brushed.

Well, guess which went home with me...

Pain
Panic
Meeko
Flik
Dot
Atta
Bernard
Bianca
Gruffy Gummi
Rescue Ranger Chip
Peter Pan
Jaq
Gus-Gus
Quasimodo
Mushu (friggin' huge one... over 3' long)
Terk

and all of them (except the Bug's Life ones and Terk) were old WDW/DL ones. The Bug's Life one's were applause, and Terk was from TDS I think.

and all of this was less than $30.

After that I went to the grab-bag section, and bought 2 huge grab bags of McDonald's Happy Meal/BK Kids Club toys for $2 each. I got a ton of Mulan toys, 2 Terk Straws, and Rescue Rangers, as well as a random Goliath Action Figure.

All in all, I've realized something...

I need to go to thrift stores (at least this one) more often!

This latest acquisition makes my storage shed of Disney stuff (i'm not joking.. I have a storage shed in my backyard to house a lot of my Disney stuff) a twinge more crowded, and seriously...
after a few more trips like this to the store (there were a lot of things there that I wish I could've gotten, but there's only so much room in my car) I may have to get a storage unit up the road.

I'm 3 hours south & I still find LOADS of awesome, unique Disney stuff at the local thrift shops. I bought a huge plush Tigger at WDW for te same price as I bought PERFECT, same sized Kanga, Eeyore, Sebastian, Meeko & Percy plushes combined at the local thrift store. I also found my Sleepy dwarf alarm clock there ($2), a huge collectible canvas Mickey wall hanging (one of a kind, collectible item - $10), porcelain Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs set ($15) & countless theme park tee shirts from all over ($0.50 - $2).

Would you believe that's the ONE thing I don't have pictured on my site? Shortly after I got it, I sent it to my mom to add to her Snow White collection, which she is now packaging up to send back to me. Pictures will soon be available.

My daughter would LOVE a plush Peter Pan - we keep looking, but in Northern Ireland, I reckon we are not likely to come across one!

There is no local thrift store around here with lots of Disney stuff, but I got lucky yesterday at a local garage sale while stocking up on cheap used toys for my daughter.

I found a Port Orleans (PO combined) refillable mug for 25 cents. We have a Dixie Landings one but not PO so it fits right in our collection!!! It was the only thing I got all weekend that my husband really liked!!!!!!

Thanks, Princess! I figured it'd be from one of the movies I never watched, like Pocahontas and Hunchback.
