Happy HalloWishes

When we went to Disney for Christmas last year we saw Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade and Holiday Wishes on a regular night at the Magic Kingdom without attending MVMCP. I assume they do this special Christmas time parade and firework show every night even if MVMCP isn't going on instead of alternating from the originals just on special nights (is that the case?)

We'll be there in October but MNSSHP won't be going on on the nights we are there. I'm wondering if we will see Happy HalloWishes and/or the Halloween parade anyways or if we'll see the regular version of Wishes.

See that's what I thought with Holiday Wishes and the parade but apparently not.

it is like that for the Christmas Entertainment as well until the 20th or so and then the parties stop and they begin offering the special party entertainment during the extended park hours due to the high occupancy levels. It is much slower in the Fall so there is no reason to do special entertainment on normal days, helps to push the event ticket sales. If you can go to the Halloween party it is a blast

When it comes to HalloWishes this may change this year due to the popularity of the show. Stay tuned.

They're most likely going to show the regular Wishes on the nights you are there, but you might get lucky and get a chance to see HalloWishes one night when they are testing. That's what happened to us when we went last year. I'm not sure if they were testing because it was the first year they were presenting this show, or if it's a normal thing.

Popularity making them shown aside - each night the shows have to be prepped, charges loaded, etc, and run from a computer. They don't wander into a warehouse and say "Oo.. we have more of the big sparkleys for the Witch sequence then we do the Wish Upon a Star sequence, let's do HalloWishes tonight." Rather, it's ordered in advance and scheduled - actually operating it, again the charges have to be set and the computer program run.

So, to them, there's nothing different really in what gets done for special shows versus the regular show.

Perimeter is actually where they have to a signifigant number of things differently to pull off the show. Road closures, watercraft warnings/closures, other launch sites, all that fun stuff.

Need to clarify. I was refering to HalloWishes and not regular Wishes on my previous post. It has been amended to reflect such. Also on the non event nights there would be no perimeters.
